CSB Bank Ltd, a private sector bank with a lineage of 100 years, is strengthening its presence in key geographies across the country. As a part of their expansion plans, the Bank has opened a new branch in Pune located at Ground Floor, Maa Kalika Chambers, S.R No.206, CTS NO.4716, 4716/1, opp. Thyssen Kroop Industries, Next to Canara Bank Pimpri.
Earlier this year, CSB Bank had announced its plan to open over 100 branches across the country in FY 20-21. The Bank’s core business of gold loans has seen 47 per cent year-on- year growth. With one-third of the loan book in gold loans, CSB Bank has been addressing the clear shift of demand in gold loans in the market.
Commenting on the development, MD & CEO Mr.C VR.Rajendran said, “Our aim is to enhance presence outside Kerala locations,especially in Southern & Western India.With a history of 100 years, CSB Bank is known for its personalised service delivery to its customers and is well capitalised.With the opening of new branches, we will be able to develop new business opportunities in the market including MSME and Agricultural lending apart from building our CASA & Gold Loan Business.
At present, the Bank has 432 branches and 310 ATMs spread across 18 states and 2 union territories. This branch will facilitate all offerings such as Agri,SME, Corporate, and NRI Banking.
