JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Tathawade, Pune organized the First IEEE International Virtual Conference on “Computing Communication and Green Engineering (CCGE)” recently. This conference was sponsored by IEEE, ISTE, and AICTE, Delhi.
The conference aimed to bring academicians, scientists, and engineers together with common interests and discuss issues, and ideas related to Computing, Communication, and Green Engineering. The inaugural ceremony was conducted in the auspicious presence of Prof. Dr. Ramjee Prasad, Founding President of CGC, Founder Chairman of GISFI, Dept. of Business Development and Technology, Aarhus University, Denmark. The ceremony started with the opening remarks of Dr.Shailaja Patil, Organizing chair CCGE’21, and followed by addresses of Dr.R.K.Jain, General Chair and Director, RSCOE, Dr.Ravi Joshi, Director, JSPM Group of Institutes, Mr. Girish Khilari, Chair IEEE Pune Section. All the dignitaries highlighted the importance of Computing, Communication, and Green Engineering. The chief guest Dr. Ramjee Prasad addressed participants and researchers on 6G security and key drivers for 6G roadmap. Around 300 participants witnessed the inaugural ceremony. The inaugural ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Prof A.S.Devasthali, Deputy Director, RSCOE.
Pre-conference special tutorial was conducted by Dr. Idongesit Williams, Assistant Professor, Communication, Media and Information technologies, Denmark on the topic Green ICT: Issues, Challenges, and Applications. Renowned keynote speakers including Dr.Leila De Floriani, Professor, University of Maryland, Dr.Celia Shahnaz, Professor, University of Bangladesh, Dr.Sara Paiva, Professor, Polytechnic Institute, Viana Do Castelo, Portugal, Dr. Somyot Kaitwanidvilai, Dean & Director Associate Professor KMITL, Thailand and N.K.Thulasiraman delivered their talk during the conference. Total 132 authors from the National and International Research communities presented their research work.
Valedictory ceremony was held in the presence of guest of honor, Dr.Suresh Nair, Chair, IEEE India Council, and chief guest Dr.Susan Kethy Land, 2021 IEEE President and Mr. Girish Khilari, CTO and Director, Elliot Systems and Chair IEEE Pune Section. Dr. Ram Joshi, Dean Academics, RSCOE expressed gratitude towards the office bearers of the IEEE Pune section, Dr. Girish Khilari, Chair IEEE Pune Section, Dr.V.K.Bairagi, Chair IEEE SPS chapter for technically sponsoring the conference, Dr. Vivek Deshpande, Conference Chair, Prof. Khurjekar, Dr.Suresh Limkar for their support and guidance.
