For meeting the basic needs of people during the Covid-19 global pandemic, Prashant Hingorani was felicitated for the contribution made by the Indiana Group to the local community. The award was presented in the presence of Sharad Pawar at Jejuri on February 13, 2021. During the lockdown, the Indiana Group helped the community by providing food, essentials, personal protective equipment, sanitisers, medicines and other essentials, despite the difficulties faced by the group. Reviewing the message given by the Prime Minister, the group not only sustained all its workers or employees, but also provided salaries to all, including contract workers even when all work was on hold during the lockdown.

Especially energy projects, petrochemicals, refineries, processing plants, steel and other core sectors.
